Title:  My Career Path: Sharing Experiences ( A Journey from JU to Statistics Canada)

Speaker: Mr. Tanvir Quadir

Mr. Tanvir Quadir graduated from the Department of Statistics, Jahangirnagar University in 2002. He joined the Department as a lecturer in 2002 and promoted as an Assistant Professor in 2005.  He obtained his another Master degree in Statistics from McMaster University in 2007. He started his PhD at the University of Windsor in 2007. Experienced Methodologist/Analyst with a demonstrated history of working in the government administration industry. Skilled in Statistical Programming (SAS, R), Analytics, Survey Methodology, Record Linkage, Data Analysis, and Statistical Modeling. Strong research professional with several years of experience of teaching Statistics/Survey Methodology courses to disparate groups (Statistics and non-Statistics major) at Ottawa University, Carleton University, and Statistics Canada. Currently working as Unit Head, Data Integration Infrastructure Division at Statistics Canada.
